Blessed

Well I thought it was time for me to explain a little more on our foster care "break" that we have chosen to make. After Tank's adoption is finalized we will close our foster/adopt license for a minimum of 3 or so years...

Why you ask?

Because we are expecting twins.

Yep :) This mama is pregnant and with two babies at that. This will put our household at 4 kiddos - 3 and under. Which is enough work for anyone right? :)

We are due early next year - most likely February.

  2. Hi I stumbled across ur blog when I was Googling letting go
I'm a 23 young woman who took in my older sis baby at only 2months old, under the assumption it would be for 3 months Max
My fiance and I were sure to give him love as our own
we've been together eight yrs now and still no kids of our own
Well long story short he's 20 months now and I'm finding it extremely difficult to give him up, I had no intention of being a Foster parent and now I find myself in such a whirlwind of emotions. I am native and and baby is thru Tribal jurisdiction. Anyways I just wanted to tell u about myself and to thank u for your blog it really helps to know that this devastating feeling will subside and to feel even more grateful that I will always be in his life. And CONGRATS to ur whole family

  5. Congratulations again and again. Wow wow wow. I know you already know what it's like to care for multiples, but in case you want to know more about multiples pregnancy, I highly recommend the book "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads" by Dr Barbara Luke. This was my bible while I was pregnant with the triplets and it really helped me gain a good amount of weight. It also goes over all the other stuff you need to know during a multiples pregnancy. Anyway, a little unsolicited advice, but I'm full of that :)
